I try to avoid sugar for many reasons, but I am not afraid to admit that I like my life sweet. That being said.. aside from my usage of raw honey, and agave, I am loyal to NuNatural NuStevia (recipes), because honestly it is the best tasting Stevia I have ever tried! I am particularly fond of their Vanilla NuStevia, but I used to be infamous for carrying around a handful of NuStevia packets in my purse (hey! You never know when you will want to sweeten up something, and you won’t see me reaching for Splenda, or carrying around my own personal container of raw honey).
Check out one of my sisters favorite Chocolate Banana Pudding Recipes!
Thanks to my generous friend Ron at NuNaturals, and to welcome me to my new home in Dallas… we’ve got two exciting offers (and one is a contest, and I love contests!)

While I do not consider any Stevia to be a “health food” — I think that it wonderful for anyone trying to ween themselves off sugar, and other artificial sweeteners.

I want to make a healthy and good tasting donut with coconut flour and coconut oil. No milk unless almond, rice or soy.
i think i’d like to infuse it with lavender and use it to sweeten tea at my daughter’s tea parties!
last time i made vegan pumpkin pancakes that were lacking in the sweet department (and were slightly undercooked, my bad!!), some of that would be excellent to add! i’ve also come up with an idea to puree spinach and add it to pancakes just so that they’d be green, my favorite color!! the idea sounds good in my head!
and i’ve been dying to try my hand at baking muffins, if i’m not using a banana that has natural sweetness, i’d probably end up using mushed black beans, then i can add some stevia as a sweetener. not sure what flavor of muffin though…maybe a carrot cake one

Ok. Wow, we LOVE nunaturals at my house! We have 2 recipes that we use it in all the time (and I can’t choose between the two to tell you, so I’ll just do both):
1. 1/4 teaspoon (heaping) of NuNaturals powder + 1 cup plain, lowfat Stonyfield organic yogurt. That’s it- all you need, but SOOOOOOOO good!
2. 1/2 cup Irish steel-cut oats, 1 cup water, pinch of sea salt, 3/4 teaspoon Nunaturals powder, cinnamon, and 1 tbsp melted almond butter on top! (don’t mix in almond butter). This is one of our new faves, we have it all the time.
favorite thing to make with stevia has to be tea…. but thats not so creative so coconut shakes
2 young thai coconuts
10 drops of stevia
1 vanilla bean
1 tbsp cinnamon
I love stevia because i can’t eat sugar. I like to make fresh lemonade with
1 bunch of basil
2 sliced lemons
1 liter of fresh water
LOTS OF STEVIA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Avocado carob pudding— 2 avocados, 2 tablespoons carob powder and 5-7 drops stevia. Can also be made with added blended bananas to make a soft serve.
My favorite thing to make with Stevia is probably the easiest to make……and gives the biggest bang….After I pop popcorn I sprinkle a little salt on it and then Stevia….Instant Kettle corn ! and it is delicious! It is a perfect snack .
definitely would make my favorite – Stevia limeade!
I love squeezing lemon into sparkling water and adding a few drops of Nu Naturals stevia.
I love to toss a bunch of field greens with lemon juice and a few drops of Nu Naturals stevia and then add red onion and avocado. My favorite salad ever.
I also love the above with a scoop of garlic-ky home made hummus instead of avocado and onion.
I like adding a few drops of Nu Naturals stevia to my green lemonade (celery or cucumber + parsley or cilantro + lemon).
Those are the ways I use Nu Naturals stevia every single day … but I use it occasionally in other ways too, to sweeten my vanilla rooibos tea, etc.
I make an amazing Raw Kale Salad with stevia:
1 bunch raw kale, massaged with salt for 3 minutes until it softens just a bit. Rinse.
2 ears of raw sweet corn – cut corn off the cob and toss in.
2 peppers (any color) sliced
2 shredded carrots
1 clove of garlic minced
several drops of new naturals stevia
sea salt and pepper to taste.
Sometimes I make this a creamy salad by mashing an avocado into it. Delish!

I love the Vanilla Stevia… just because I try to avoid sugar at all costs… but I love my hot cocoa. Enter a recipe to win!! It can be anything!
I use stevia all the time! I put it in my tea, salad dressing, lemonade…
I also make “nut freeze” in the vitamix. Ratios can vary, but put your favorite nut, nut milk, ice, +/- cocoa, and STEVIA in the vitamix and enjoy yummy icecream!
I would love to try some baking with it. My favorite treat is zucchini bread so it would be wonderful to make a healthy version to share with friends.
I’ve been dying to try making an overnight oats and yogurt treat. 1 C. plain Greek yogurt, 1/2 C. raw oats, dash cinnamon and Vanilla Stevia!
Daily I drink chai first thing every morning and then Tazo Passion tea (iced) both with NuNaturals Stevia… it would be great to try them with the vanilla flavor.
I also love making dessert guacamole with avocado mashed up with a little lemon juice, stevia and a pinch of salt. I think this would be heavenly with the vanilla flavor as well.
I love vanilla stevia in my watermelon smoothies.
-Seedless watermelon chopped
-Juice of 1 lime
-5 or 6 drops of liquid vanilla stevia
-Ice cubes
Place all ingredients in blender and blend until smooth. So yummy and refreshing.

I’ve only been able to find (and afford) the NuStevia white stevia powder, but I’m sure the drops would work well in this recipe too! Especially the vanilla flavoring for an extra touch!
I enjoy sweetening up fruit crisps with stevia! My go-to recipe is:
Topping:
1/2 cup flour
1/2 cup rolled oats
1/3 cup brown sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon
6 Tbsp. butter (unsalted), chilled and diced
Filling:
6 cups fruit (I like a mixture of fruit, so for example use 4 cups peaches to 2 cups blueberry ratio, etc.)
2-3 Tbsp. fresh lemon juice
3-5 packets NuStevia White Stevia Powder (more of less to your liking)
1 tsp. vanilla or almond extract (could add vanilla stevia here!)
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
dash of nutmeg
Combine ingredients for topping and set aside.
Chop and combine fruit with lemon juice. Add rest of filling ingredients and stir to combine.
Bake in a pie plate or 8×8 square pan, at 350 for 40-45 minutes, or until crisp is browned and the crisp is bubbling.
hi – i guess it’s lame but i’d really really like to make that pudding!!!

I’ve been on a lo-carb dieting kick so this came in right in handy for me. Thus far i’ve only used in on smaller things like slushies. I’ve bought the unsweetened kool-aid or wylers packets and i add it to the dry mix then poured it over some crushed ice. A delicous lo-carb treat for a hot day. I’m also going to try to make some homemade ice-cream with it. I’ve located the lo-carb milk got my sugar so wish me luck. ^_^ If it works out well i would also like to try make homemade chocolate candies. I love chocolate and coconut.
guess i’m a little late i just realized this was from last year. hehe
